We Have 5 Days Before Launch: Here's How We Helped a Client Redesign Their Brand Under Extreme Time Constraints
Introduction:
Creativity often requires time, with most projects designed and completed weeks ahead. Yet, occasionally, the client reaches out in absolute panic. About 3 months ago, a local business owner reached out to our small team, and they were set to launch their product in just 5 days.
They had:
- No branding,
- No launch creatives,
- No videos,
- And a logo that had probably been in place since 2005.
Here's how our team at Revuteck responded.

Q: So a client comes to you in a panic what is the background?
A local business owner reached out to us for the first time with just 5 days left for their product launch.
They had:
- An old logo,
- No creatives for social media,
- And no launch campaign videos.
It was all rushed and chaotic. To be honest, the frequency of these situations is vastly underestimated. A large portion of a business' time is spent creating the product, and the branding and marketing are left to the last minute. This time, however, it wasn't our first time. So instead of panicking, we focused on bringing clarity.
Q: What was the biggest challenge?
Purely time. 5 days is almost nothing when you have to create branding, launch imagery, and marketing videos all almost from scratch. Though there is almost no time to be creative, it somehow works better under the circumstances. Instead of trying to overcomplicate things, we asked one vital question first:
"What does this brand need to communicate on Day One?"

With that answer, things became 100 times clearer. Colors. Fonts. Editing style. Motion graphics. We started to fall into theorder of things.
Q: How do you manage the graphic design side?
We went with what the research said as opposed to how we felt. This is widely underappreciated. Sometimes, a client breaks the ice with: "I like blue." At the end of the day, it's not about what they likeit's about the audience.
So we work with a mood board that lays out:
- Target audience
- Competitors
- Where the design world sits
- How you present your brand.
- What is the audience's perception of the brand?
We created 3 logos in just 1 day. Within 24 hours we delivered 3 logos. By the 2nd day, the client had a vote and we were able to sign off the system the overall branding, design, and typeface

Q: What about the video editing?
It's pretty much the same thing here. The raw footage for virtually every launch video was a disaster. Shots were shaky, inconsistent, and missing structure. It took a lot of work to solve the bad footage.
We focused on:
- Faster cuts
- Bold graphics
- A strong hook
- Clean cuts
- Sound design
- Color grading
- Moving the footage faster
The goal was to get the audience to stop scrolling. What started as a bunch of clips became a well-composed launch video that the client still uses today.

Q: What do most businesses underestimate? Simplicity and Consistency. A business might have a wonderful logo, but if every video, post, and promotional material looks inconsistent, the brand will always look unprofessional. People may not realize it, but they notice consistency. Every deliverable we create is connected through:
- Fonts
- Color palette
- Motion graphics
- Style of editing
- Creatives for social media
Everything should look as if it exists in the same visual universe. This develops togetherness and trust in the online world.
